KAM Futures is led by Keith McCabe who is an internationally recognised innovative thinker, with over 30 years of experience in the transport and ICT sectors.  During that time he has performed roles across the supply chain as client, contractor and consultant and in all stages of projects from the early conception through the installation and commissioning to the whole life maintenance and removal.

 

Keith has a track record of providing transport solutions by drawing on ideas and processes that emerge from academia and technological innovation.  He draws on his strengths in divergent and convergent thinking alongside systems thinking techniques to identify appropriate solutions.

 

Keith has led business development strategies in existing and new markets and has been responsible for identifying and developing new service lines.

 

Keith is currently involved in a number of committees and initiatives in the UK and internationally, which include:

• Chair of Manchester IET Transport Technical Interest Group

• Chair of US Transport Research Board Regional Transport Systems Management and Operations subcommittee on Sustainability in Transport Operations

• Joint Chair of EU Cost Autonomic Road Transport Systems working group on Human Factor in Autonomic Transport Systems

• Honorary Secretary of ITS UK Smart Environment Interest Group

• Member of Conference Committee for the joint IET ITS UK 2014 Road Transport Information and Control Systems Conference

• Member of the US Transport Research Board Regional Transport Systems Management and Operations Committee
